Bosch Multi Cutter – Cord or Cordless

There is no doubt that the Bosch Multi Cutter is a really useful tool for anyone engaged in renovation, maintenance or installation of facilities.  Plumbers and electricians working on existing properties find the multi cutter a real time saver.

The question often asked is whether to invest in the corded version or go for the cordless variant. The answer really depends on your situation and what you will normally be using the multi cutter for.

Having used both corded and cordless versions I can say that power is not really an issue. Both perform well. The cordless version is actually lighter at 1.0kg than the 1.7kg corded version.

I think that if you were sanding/scraping for any length of time then you would probably opt for the corded version. But for intermittent/short term use the cordless version is my favourite.

The Bosch Li-ion battery technology is on of the best around. The Bosch Multi Cutter battery can be charged in about 30mins.

The feel of the Bosch multi cutter is good and comfortable as the grip is a good size and has padding just where you need it.
